We miss you Robert. I've told you before how much I appreciate your contributions here so I don't need to go into that again.

But knowing that you are not well and are probably sitting bored in some "care facility" I want you to know that a bunch of people here have noticed that you're missing and we miss and care about you. You're one of the most well respected metallurgists in this corner of the world and we are diminished by your absence here.
 
Mete get well soon , you were a big influence on me being as anal as I am about my heat treating.
 
You were the first guardian metallurgist on this forum at least since I have been here. Thanks for keeping it real for so many years.
