Stuff to know This is a nickel iron. Unique crystal structure can not be duplicated in earth. If I recall, one reason is due to cooling one degree per million years. This come from Sweden from a meteorite found in 1906, that fell on earth about 100,000 years ago. This is called Octahedrite , fine (0.3)shock hatched kamacite structure. I do not have a clue what that means but maybe you do. I acquired this in a trade at the Tucson fossil show and know there are knife makers who want meteorite for blades. I just know it looks cool and a bade made of this would look out of this world.

Hi Miles, I would like this. Would you like to bring it next time you are in town or would you rather mail it. Please PM me a total and I will Paypal you. Nice to see you back, hope you had a good show in Tucson, did I miss anything good?

Amazing. Do you have any more of the meteorite?

You've got some beautiful stuff on your web site. Kind of mind boggling the diversity of natural resources you have available and from Alaska.

Hi Mark I'll bring it in when I come to town next. No good transportation for me so who knows when. I'll collect $ when I bring it in. And nope no more slices - was a one time trade knowing 'somone' wold be interested, could have got more but it is easy to overspend at such a show. Maybe next year I will pick up more.
