Meth labs in the woods

I come into contact regularly with users of crystal meths and they are pretty messed up people.
You only have to take it a couple of times and you have permenant,irrepairable brain damage....this stuff is real bad news,but you don't need me to point that out eh !
 
Here in the California mountains hidden pot farms have been around for decades and something one has needed to be concerned about. I found one years ago and turned it in.

I 2nd making it all legal and regulate sales. People are going to do drugs either way. The wars on drugs do not work. It makes all of us more vulnerable to crime and funds large scale criminal organizations. Spend the money on rehabilitation instead of suppression and jails.
 
You probably don't have to worry too much unless you're heading off-trail. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to the rangers wherever your going and see if they have any information. I always make a point of stopping at the ranger station as I head into the wilderness area of the Hoosier National Forrest and see if there is anything going on in the park that I need to be aware of anyhow.
