Thanks everyone!:thumbup: I did manage to skip a percoset yesterday and I cut down my morning methadone to 5 mgs and the pain hasn't been too bad.:thumbup:

Moff, mine doesn't have the option of turning it up myself, some do have a device for a quick boost for breakthrough pain though I understand, it's limited to so many times a day...... With this medicine going directly into your spinal fluid at such a minuscule amount I'm reasonably sure a sudden very large dose would sure enough put anyone out of their misery instantly. The gubbiment isn't going to allow any Dr. to be able to dispense that amount of self control to anyone.
