Metlweld experience?

I haven't used the product, but the info says it fills large gaps, so i'm guessing it is a gell or a paste?
I like the T-88 because if you heat the tang of the blade before applying the epoxy, it will thin out almost watery thin and run into any surface imperfections. The same holds true for handle material.
