Mexican Blanket Scales

Personally, I love them (surprise surprise, for those who know me around here, right? ), though I haven't owned any as of yet. I've been eying it for quite a while now, but things just haven't lined up perfectly with the right knife so far. I was actually waiting for hiking season to be over before checking into getting some made for my Jurassic, but I was thinking the same thing last year and just never got around to it.

Obviously not for everyone, but what is? And what fun is something that's for everyone? I do know it'll be fly as hell when I rock it, as is the case with everything I do ... Besides, I have alot of fond memories of grandma's couch . In fact I think we should embrace the name, "Grandma's Couch Micarta"

Spoke with GCarta a couple of weeks ago at Blade West, they're good folks. They had a giant block of Mexican Blanket, if it had been Ripple cut I'd have picked it up.

My dog tore up the cushions on my grandma's couch from the 60s or early 70s...maybe I'll take the covers and make them into the ugliest micarta of all time.

I actually have this one, but I wasn't sure if it it counted. However looking at the title of the thread, it does say scales, no mention of material; and these are indeed scales. In fact, I did a scale swap with mine onto a Rambler
