mhawg - you've lost a goodun'

So sad to learn - many condolences. Nothing but really good people here and a forum with the most positive and friendly atmosphere you will find in my experience. Sadly I've seen too many of these type discussions even in my short time here and everyone is more than willing to help people out with something that needs to be handled properly and fairly and with sound knowledge. This is the place to help you in that task.
I remember his posts and have seen some of this things on the X which I use as a learning tool myself constantly.

PA Trout is a fine example of the quality of the people that go through here daily. You'll find no better and you'll find many just like him.

Moffatt was a great guy! We talked here a bit in private messages over the years, and I bought a few knives from him too. One in particular last year, which I had been looking for, and is now a permanent hunting companion in my archery pack (a Boney Active Duty, or BAD for short). :cool:

He will be missed here, as he was a part of our little online family. :( Definitely sad news for us.

Thank you Jerry. And especially thank you for being part of his other family. I'm learning of a new and colorful side to him here that I only barely saw from afar. What a great forum!

You may be the person to share this with, but I'm fairly certain that his roommates relieved him of some of the better pieces of his collection. No way for me to know for sure. Would not expect them to come here to sell, but just thought if someone shows up from near Columbia, SC in the near future you might be suspicious. Again, not much to be done about it, but they were "friends" and know you guys would feel the same about them as I do.
