Clearly the wise and appropriate course. The nice thing about the Umnumzaan, of course, is that (barring another bit of bad luck :( ) you will still have the Umnu the next morning, whereas the wine, well... :( ;)

That is great news! I lost my longest owned CKRs, a small Sebenza classic. I was gone for over two weeks and finally found it behind the bed. It had caught on something and was flung behind the headboard. Only when I was pulling out a side-by-side that is stored under the bed did I see my Sebenza.
 
I feel better knowing it has been found...congratulations. Lanyard with a clip to your belt maybe?
 
Thats great news. I 2nd the lanyard idea. Got in the habit while in the military.
 
Glad it was found. I hadn't checked back for a few days. Clicking on the thread hoping there was a happy resolution.
 
As requested, a pic. A few of my favorite EDCs included.
I can't find any new scratches on the Unmunzaan. It was found in snow and grass, so it had a soft landing. As for lanyard, I took the stock one off because it kept bothering me.

Glad to hear you've reunited with your friend. I recently got a Star-tac this is one marvelous knife. I'd be devastated if I lost it.
