Micarta. 1st attempt.

My first attempt at making micarta for my first knife.
Its 2 old T shirts in red and navy blue. The red was cotton and the blue was Reebok's Playdry material.
Standard fibreglass resin + hardener. Pressed it between 2 planks of plywood for 6 hrs.
Had a little misalignment due to slippage but I can still cut it get all the layers on the scales I am making.

Thats cool though I am not sure that will resist the elements. Good work either way.

Thank you. But why do you say it may not resist the elements? I washed them and they don't seem to absorb water.
I am sure any mistakes would show themselves as I work it more but I'd appreciate knowing earlier.
