Hogs,

I'm looking at getting my first Busse, and I had a question.

On the Busse website the black canvas micarta looks blue. Is it?

I've already decided that I want the urban grey finish.

I've searched much, but I can't find any pictures of the stuff. Honestly I would prefer just blue canvas micarta, but it seems as though the black canvas is as close as I can get. Maybe.

Can you guys and gals help me out?

Thanks.

Hello D,

The black canvas micarta is actually grey in color. That is, until it gets used. The oils in your hand will darken the micarta to near solid black. I haven't heard of a blue canvas, but it wouldn't surprise me if Jerry had some stashed away somewhere. ;)

Welcome to the Busse forum. Good luck in your decision!

:D

Yep, seems green 'til you get your sweaty little mitts all over it.

It's very light green/gray but it is true that it turns black with handling, my FSH is loosing the greeinsh tint fast with use.

Thanks guys.

Thats what I thought was the case.

I'm gonna have to look around to see if I can find any blue canvas and use it on one of my own blades.
