Did I ever tell you guys that I have the best wife ever? Well, I do. She grabbed me this for Christmas and let me have it early.
It is the Micarta 25. I have to say that I am IMPRESSED. I am sure I will be making a video soon comparing the three family members.
Make sure you note that all 3 have double studs. Hehe, they are studly. :)

Here is a quick couple pics of them:

Nice new addition! Cool trio you've got going on there. My favorite is the large 21 with blue double thumb studs! You've got an awesome wife, and many an awesome knife. Would love to hear your thoughts on the 25, going from large and small 21s.

I will be doing a video review with my thoughts on the three sometime soon.

I like the family! I am guessing mom is the one with the curves?

Of course and she's only 25 ;)......

I'm getting to the stage where I'm starting to need a micarta inlay having been a staunch plain Jane-er. It won't be long now. :D

Sweet little family you have there. Make sure you keep your better half happy, especially if she knows how to use one of those CRK's.

Haha... My wife does have perfect curves, but I think she would prefer to be the small 21. :)

I am going to be getting her something very nice for Christmas. I just hope she likes it like I like the 25.

It's about time you will be going to the dark, micarta, side. :)

Technically, wouldn't the family be complete when you get the tanto in large and small , the insingo in large and small and all of the Damascus varieties in large and small also :D

Nice collection there!

The 25 looks better in person than on the CRK website, doesn't it.

I was one of the haters when it first came out, even though I really liked my plain 25. It was my first CRK.

But when I saw a micarta 25 in person, it had to leave the store with me. VERY attractive IMO.

Jon, I was perfectly happy with my small micarta till I stared at pics of yours and Cody's small micarta Insingos and now I'm trying to trade for one...I put this blame on you!

I think many of us owe Chris Reeve an apology. His previous designs are so iconic, and so familiar, that the "newness" of the 25 Micarta pattern, coupled with some photos on the CRK website that weren't really that flattering to the design, resulted in a bit more negativity than was warranted for the 25 Micarta.

Myself, I like it now, and I like it because it is different than the 21, and different than anything else on the market. I have a plain-jane 25 (and way too many CRKs!!!), so I can't justify a purchase of a 25 Micarta, but if I was buying my first 25, I'd go for it. It's cool!

I'm just getting you back for making me "need" a small Damascus 21 :D
