Micarta finish

I've always loved the finish on your micarta. I've been having trouble with some myself, I just cant get the balance of not ragged looking, but grippy. If it's not a trade secret I was wondering if you wouldn't mind divulging your technique

I take it to 120 grit on the belt sander, then heavily beadblast with 120 grit silicon carbide media.

The contouring seems to take a better "blast" than the flat areas.

Where do you get your abbrasive media for blasting? I checked your "links" section of your website, but did not find what I'm looking for listed.
