Micarta handles

I have been thinking about getting some micarta handles for by BK7,what brand,and or maker,do you folks like
 
I got a set of KA-BAR's with the BK10 Limited Edition, and after filing, sanding, dyeing, and tung oiling they are DOPE, man. I love em.
 
I always hear good things about Tomars. Birthday is coming up and that's where I'm getting mine.
 
tomars is great, or get em directly from kabar. If you would prefer black or green canvas, check out a popular auction site, there is a maker that frequents there and his look pretty nice
 
I got my 7 and the micarta for it from Tomars Kabars dot com.

The micarta does make it a whole new animal.

I really need to get a set of micarta for my BK7. This post is putting me over the edge! Great looking stuff.

The only micarta I have is what came with the BK10. I put it on there to take some photos, and took it right back off. I too prefer the feel of the grivory.

Haha I could have said this. I put the micarta from the 10 on to my BK-9. The rest is grivory. The only bad thing about grivory is that you cant sand it, sometimes there is raised edges. :(

Take the plunge man. Micarta is a whole new beast. But great. If you prefer grivory I know a message board you can easily get your money back if you sell em at cost.

Tung oiling, huh? How does that feel when it is done?
