That actually might benefit from "home" made Micarta (less wasted material).

I was wearing a dress shirt yesterday, with collar stays, and was thinking: would it be feasible to custom make micarta stays? I'm thinking white linen for a white shirt, and then custom (micarta "damascus"?) colors for darker colored shirts which wouldn't be so sensitive to show-through.
