Can anyone tell me when the micarta Jesters are expected to be available? Any idea where i should be watching for them or pre-order? I really want one of these for a friend...and one for me too. :)

Sounds like we should be seeing them pretty soon. I'll have to keep my eyes open. I hope someone will post here when they show up!

I know I'll keep an eye out for them. I've been a sucker for micarta Spyderco's since my Calypso Jr. Does anyone know MSRP?
 
Micarta Jesters are in and shipping. I've been carrying one for about a week.

Looks like the wife will be getting one of these as soon as we find one. Nice to see micarta is still being used now and then in the Spyderco line.

Any word on pictures and/or colors of the FRN Jester? What about blade steel?

I've liked every FRN spydie I've ever had. In theory I dont like plastic, but they're tough, light, strong and hold up really well. I was considering waiting on the FRN version, but that maroon micarta does look really nice.

If anyone has pics/descriptions or colors of the new FRN one, please share!!

FRN Jesters: Black, lime green, and fuchia.

The only pic out is the black FRN shown in the PDR and Dealer's catalog.

Will the micarta Jester be available in serrated or partial serrated edge?

I have 2 PE on the way but would like a PSE or SE if they are available.

I know that the FRN Jesters will be PE and SE, but AFAIK all Micarta Jesters are PE. I'll try to check with Spyderco, but many key people have gone to the SHOT Show.

Thanx Carlos. I might add that they are in house now and shipping. We won't be making any more in burgundy micarta, it's a one shot deal.
