Micarta Jester?

I second the recommendation of Mike and newgraham.com. I've ordered most of my Spydercos through him, including a couple of micarta Jesters, last week. They should be showing up tomorrow.

The Burgundy Jester I ordered from New Graham got here today as planned, just in time for me to give it to my wife as a Valentine's Day present. She loves it!

Now I have just one remaining question... Can anyone tell me what steel Spyderco used for the blade? And is it the same on the micarta short run and the regular FRN versions?

AUS-6

The same steel is used for Micarta sprint and FRN versions.

Great knife. Just got one this week. A classy looking key-ring knife. Get one while you can!!!

Really? I was tempted, but I've never had an AUS-6 blade that could hold any edge.

Oh well.
