A few weeks ago, on P104, post #2069 I wrote, "...the micarta's color variation smoothed right out with a little coon-fingering". I thought I'd show that here because as you know, without pics it didn't happen. Plus, I really want to carry it again today it's such a great knife.

edit; I see Corto_Malt thinks so too. Any other possum lovers out there?

It's not too often that I can get in on this thread. I like Micarta but it's not something I have a lot of.

This case has made it through the weekend in my pocket so I guess it's a keeper. I like it very much!

Sunny Micarta Monday! Supposed to get up to 68°F today which, in Miami, is on the verge of an arctic apocalypse! I'll be seeing plenty of folks wearing garishly colored parkas paired with shorts and flip-flops - guaranteed!
