from back when the bird dog was just a pup, her color has since mellowed a bit to a beautiful antique bronze
the way she looks today might have made a good 2021 BF knife color

Micarta ages well. Last week this Birddog was shown in the older photo (4 post above).
Here's the same Birddog, this time in a photo taken in the last few days.

Great knife that IMO has only gotten better with age. Have a wonderful week!

I’m not a big fan of canvas Micarta (I prefer linen Micarta) but that green canvas looks good.

I have no experience with micarta. This is my second micarta knife and the first one is not used much.
The material rendering on this knife is for my taste rather successful (difficult to render in pictures). The contact in hand is rather pleasant. I don't know how it will react in sustained use.

Sorry, I missed your post.
I'm not a micarta lover, nor a micarta specialist (this is only the 3rd micarta handled knife I have) but I think it's really nice in terms of shades of color and material touch.
