I have no experience with micarta. This is my second micarta knife and the first one is not used much.
The material rendering on this knife is for my taste rather successful (difficult to render in pictures). The contact in hand is rather pleasant. I don't know how it will react in sustained use.

Sorry, I missed your post.
I'm not a micarta lover, nor a micarta specialist (this is only the 3rd micarta handled knife I have) but I think it's really nice in terms of shades of color and material touch.
