I just have to ask... what's with all the dogs?

These are dogs in Athens, just behind the Acropolis. They sleep under the sweltering heat but at night the bunch rambles on the streets and you better care.

The Bark River has highly polished thick micarta whereas the Fox Livri has a matte type finish, both get a rub down with a micro-cloth. The Bark River is a favourite small knife and its grip is sure and precise due to the handle notches. The Fox is linerless and weighs nothing but I favour the M390 steel, very sharp and stays like it.

Some of the best micarta handles I’ve ever gotten on a knife and for $40 it’s a steal! Fit and finish is imho excellent. Spring is flush in all three positions, walk and talk is sweet. Blade comes razor sharp and the grind is nice and even. Maybe I got the exception but the my other two Reserves are very good too. The regular R&R knives can be hit or miss and I’ve gotten a few which were POS. If you are a fan of sway back’s you’ll like this one.
