Micarta Monday - Traditional Knives Only, Please

Ok...its snowing like crazy outside and I'm not going out in it to take pics. And I have a hard time with my crappy camera getting good, close up, indoor pics. And black Micarta can be hard to shoot at the best of times. Nonetheless I keep forgetting to post this one on Monday so here it is while I remember. Schatt & Morgan 2 blade copperhead in black micarta. Really is a lovely knife. Trust me ;)

One of the best things about Mondays is Micarta. It may not be as popular as some other cover materials but I like it on the right knife. I think the Northwoods 74 Zulu is one of those "right knives", looks almost indestructible and yet kinda classy.

I had this Natural Canvas Micarta Bull Nose in my pocket today.

I was also looking at some old photos on my phone earlier today and found a picture of that same knife when I first got it. I knew the micarta had darkened with use, but didn't realize/remember just how much it had changed!
