Over the years GEC has made their Reverse Dog Leg (#56) in a variety of configurations. Here's a 2018 "Bird Dog" in natural micarta. It's Houndtooth shield matches well with the knife's patten and name.

Respectfully disagree. Nothing gaudy about that one at all. There's a lot of gaudy in the knife world at large, but I don't see a speck of it on that example.
