This is a low profile EDC/self defense style. Also would make a good combat backup, it's nice and light. Contoured handle gives a good secure grip, and maybe a touch more "guard" feel than a traditional tanto would have. The butt curve is set up nice for a palm heel grip if desired. Balance is at the mid rear of the first finger- a slicer, not a sword.
9 inches Overall, .095 15N20 with a double edged convex ground 4 7/8 inch blade - reverse edge is 2 1/2 inches. Differentially tempered, 600 grit hand rubbed finish.
Handle is contoured tan canvas micarta with stainless pins and lanyard tube.
Sheath is fine grained horsehide with a linseed oil finish- expedition sheath and fully adjustable for carry. You can set the height and belt width of the belt hanger or remove it using the chicago screws (photo 2) - Made by Koyote Girl, of course.
