Micarta question

hello fellow BF friends.
This is the fourth knife I've made in my garage (still learning) and This is my second time using black canvas micarta.
Last time I didn't care too much cause the handle was smooth and dark (used 500 grit sandpaper) but this time I used 120 grit paper and even though I like the feel, the handle looks greenish.
How do I make it look darker or black permanently?

lots of folks use wd40.

I used wd40, but also used gun and reel grease, which seemed to hold longer, let it soak in and buff off

Teak Oil. Apply liberally and let stand for about 30 minutes so it soaks into the fibers. Wipe off the excess with a paper towel.

Let it dry for at least 24 hours, then rub down again with either paper towel or soft cloth.

Darkens most colors of micarta.
