Nifrand has requested a Michael Connor, MS Bowie over on the Santa wish list thread. Danbo has chimed in that HE has never seen one. I have never seen one, and don't know anybody who admits to having seen a picture of one.

I am starting to think that this might be a Bigfoot or Nessie type of deal. :jerkit:

If you have a photo of one, Please post it. Thanks. ;)

Damn, I opened this thread in the HOPES that I, too, would finally catch a glimpse of Sasquatch.... :(

Please. Someone!

I'm nearly certain Kieth Montgomery had one as his avatar a long while back.

Did a little search, all I found was a Michael Connor dagger.Guess we'll have to see if Keith posts.

I have no photos of a Connor bowie. I have one of a dagger that is owned by Ron Newton, and a small photo of a hunter.

I have seen and held Ron/Mikes dagger (actually drug Ron over to a table at Blade that had one of his knives for sale. I picked up Ron's after he told me about it and Ron bought the dagger.) I bet Ron has one of those mythical Bowies laying around. :D

all right. I will try to get mine out and photo it.

I forgot you had one Jerry. Is it the one I saw the first time I met you when Connor brought me to you house? The one with the nice wooden sheath? Seems like it was a spearpoint with maple handle.

Okay Ron,

I know you know how to work a camera - may we please have a pic of that dagger?

Looking forward to that bowie Jerry.

There is a picture of a Mike Connors dagger on page 79 in the first, points of interest, book by Jim Weyer. There may be a picture of one of Mike Connors bowies in one of the other issues of point of interest, have to look and see later.

Nada. I checked. They don't even acknowledge the first book's photo in the later 'index of maker's knives' issues. It's a fine dagger, but nothing crazy.

WE WANT A BOWIE PHOTO!!!!

Patience, Raj. These things take time in Arkansas. Jerry's digital camera is probably a hand cranked version! :p ;) :D

Ron, there is a maple handle spear point in Uncle Al's collection.

No question it is about as top-level as it gets.
