Any oddities or discolorations are just reflections or issues with pic. All are new.
I have made several orders from Michael himself as he is an excellent knife maker. As he has explained to me the "Michael Du Plessis" stamp means the knife was made entirely by him. The "MDK" stamp means it was made in his shop with some assistance from someone in his shop but made mostly by him. Both have excellent walk and talk. If you like his work or are looking to try a custom knife at decent price these are excellent examples. Only moving because I have others from him and a couple have to go.
