I tend to agree with his death eventually making it "socially acceptable" to listen to his music again.

Also, can you imagine how much more expensive Taco Bell would be in Solvang? They'd have to package it up in what, wooden boxes?

And how the heck do you make a taco look Danish?
 
I have not stopped listening to MJ and what ever suites the moment. His music was alive and lifted my spirits. As a person he creeped me out and if he was a result of an abnormal childhood I hope his kids have a better shot at a normal life than he did.

He also was a honeypot for the press who took him down and now given him a Sainthood.
 
it's a shame that nobody was able to save this deeply troubled individual way before his physical transformation.
imho, it should have been deemed a crime as much as it was imo, an unethical practice to cosmetically makeover a person that much.
for crying out loud! the only folks that warrant to undergo a facial change intentionally are probably individuals on the run from the law or in hiding, for pete's sake!
if anyone made the late MJ (may he RIP) into a freak show, it would be the team of medical cosmetic specialist who done him over.
now that's so criminal.
 
I agree that the press is schizophrenic. It was King of Pop, then Wacko Jacko, and now post mordem, King of Pop again. All of the talking heads putting on their somber face mask to tell the story. Two years ago they would have had on the smirk mask as they mentioned his peculiarities. The media coverage made me want to gag. All I know is that I had field work in Woodland Hills as well as North Hollywood that day, and I rescheduled, so I did not get stuck in traffic with non working "dead idol" worshipers who want to be a part of history. Give me a break people, lay off the cool aid!!!! :mad::mad:OK rant over.:D:o
For the record,
I enjoyed early MJ music. Especially Billie Jean and Black or White.
I pray for his kids.
I felt sorry for MJ as he went nuts.
I learned from him that fame and fortune does not guarantee happiness nor fulfillment.
