Michael Janich Joins Spyderco

Cant wait for new Janich designs. I became interested in knives after all those beautiful Spyderco models disappeared...
 
That is good news:thumbup:! I've alway enjoyed in addition to your articles in knife mags. firearm mags. also like Guns & Weapons For Law Enforcement! I hope you'll continue to write some too!

I'd be all over a re-release or spirit run of the Ronin! I've wanted one since I first saw pics of it, but never had the opportunity to get one before they when OOP. I was just recently able to finally pick up a NIB blue Yojimbo I'd been lusting after for quite some time now. While I am thus not as hot for the re-release of that model now, if they were to do something like an improved Yojimbo II I'd probably jump at that, too. :D

***Does this mean there's a possibility for the come back of the Yojimbo? PLEASE?!? A Yojimbo with a caged ball lock would be perfect.
 
Let's keep the count coming for the Jani-song. I asked about it on Mr. Janich's intro post on the spyderco forums, but might as well get an interest gauge here too. Let's keep 'em coming!

I'd hope people chime in so that we could get a full production run in for the Jani-song and not just a sprint run, since people end up missing out on them. Sprint runs also cost more than production runs. ;)
 
Excellent!

I'd like to see a 3.9" blade Ronin and/or Yojimbo sprint. (Not that i live in a 4" state er nuthin.)

I think there would be a lot of interest if the Ronin, Yojimbo and Jani-song were re-issued! I'm hoping...

Congratulations! I'm looking forward to seeing the results of your new position. I've been enjoying your segments on TV and in writing. I will buy a Jani-Song if/when they are released. I would love to pick up a Ronin and a second Yojimbo. I'm just as excited about future prospects. Have fun at the new job!
