I bought this one from Michael back in 2009, and I remember that he sent me some photographs of the Bocote that he had available and I chose these particular slabs.
From the original thread: "Made from a Simonds file temp'd down to 56-58rc., 7" long x almost 1/4" thick, 2 3/4" edge, 4 3/8" handle of Bocote and Black micarta x 3/4" thick, Brass pins and Mosaic, lanyard hole. Comes w/ 7-8oz handstiched leather sheath."
I have never carried it and it has sat in my footlocker since I took possession of it back in April of 2009. It is a shame to not put it to use so I will pass it off to someone here who will appreciate it. Actually, I have my eye on a few other of Michael's designs so it is time to make room. I think he gets $135 or so for these now, but I will let this one go for SPF, shipped to you. PayPal gift option is fine.
