Hey everyone,

I’d like to introduce this EDC knife.

It has two locking systems – a classic slip-joint and a liner lock. It opens with a button similar to Victorinox knives, but the mechanism is completely different – it’s only on one side of the handle. This allows for a much larger blade.

blade of ELMAX steel.
handle of stabilized ash wood. A green opal is set into the button. I named the knife Sand Lizard.

Closed: 130 mm | Opened: 240 mm

The design of this knife is inspired by a traditional piece of jewelry from Carpathian folk culture. It features traditional techniques such as embossing and engraving. Compared to a classic friction‑folder mechanism, it offers improved functionality: when the knife is hung through the hole in the handle, it is secured against accidental opening and can be safely worn around the neck.
