Michigan Knives?

I bought a D'Holder from them a couple of years ago and they were great to deal with. I forget his name, but he had a table at Blade that year also and is a very nice guy.

I have had a number of dealings with Bill. All transactions were top notch..the item was as described and the shipping was well done and prompt.

He is one of the best in the business. I have used him numerous times without a problem. He will some times haggle a bit on his prices and his knives are always as described and delivered quickly. He is really a great guy and an asset to the knife business.

I've been buying knives from Michigan Knives (Bill) for over 6 years now.
He's a great guy, very fair and straightforward, ships quickly and has a nice selection of knives I always seem to want to buy! :)

Buy with confidence from Bill!

Regards,
Mike

Resurrecting a zombie thread (and this is my first post here). Based upon these reviews about him, I did buy some knives from Bill last week. This page is the first "review" of MichiganKnives.com that pops up on the google machine when searched.

First - There was a slight delay in shipping because he was out of town. No biggie to me, as that was immediately communicated as soon as I had ordered. It was only 1 day. Most companies don't ship until the 2nd business day after an order anyway. I wasn't inconvenienced by it, but my shipping was credited back to me as an "I'm sorry for the delay".

Second - One of the items I ordered was "in stock", but when the order went through, the item count in their inventory was wrong. I did not get one of my items, but this was quickly communicated with me. I got a refund on the item and an offer to check back and get the item at a discount with free shipping for the problem.

This is a great way to do business!

I placed an order with Michigan Knives a couple months ago, and was extremely pleased with the item, service and communication. I would not hesitate to order again.
