Mick Dundee eat ya Heart Out

Thanks for answering my question guys. The snake skin really looks great on the bigger models. The colors really stand out a lot more than my Meaner Street. I'm going to have to keep that in mind on my next purchase.

A HOFBM, Double Cut with snake skin mag handles.... wow would that look great! Any one got any idea what something like that might cost. Better start saving now.

Plus the other two or three or four or..... omg the maddnes of it all. I need another job!

Stay Strong & No Regrets!

I agree that it would look great. But based on the grip guide on the mother site http://www.bussecombat.com/handles/ , that isn't an available option. Magnums (in SF and Fusion style) can be black, desert tan, or tiger stripe canvas.

Unless I am reading that wrong.

Hi Gregg,
Dwayne’s making me a Leather/Kydex bullet proof creation in high ride and lefty.:D
I just know its going to compliment this monster of a knife. :D

Hmm. I'll want to see pictures of that. That sounds like the perfect recipe for mine.

A high ride? Really? I wouldn't think you could pull the sucker out, it would be almost at your armpit! Ok maybe not that high. I've emailed Dwayne about a regular mount, thinking that the high mount wouldn't leave me enough room to draw my knife. You know something I don't Ian? Please share if so, I really prefer the high mounts.

Solstice,
Dwayne always angles the keeper on my large hi-rides giving me the option of cross drawing from the right side.

Usually I keep the knife mounted in my truck between the seats allowing the handle free to draw it out with out problems.
Edited to Add:
We drive on the right side here and this allows the knife to be in the middle and accessible to the left hand. Perfect, for lefties. :D

The other feature, though probably of no interest to anyone here is the fact that the knife is high enough to wear on a horse without it bumping it on the flank, usually a spot where they are not fond of, or mounting it under the saddle flap handle forward and the keeper through the girth strap, if I get a chance I’ll take a picture of it mounted on my saddle this way. It was a favorite carry method of an New Zealand stockman I met on a cattle station years ago, then started to carry one the same myself.

It was always unobtrusive and available.
Ian.
