Extremely rare. According to the folks at Strider fewer than 50 were made in 2000-01. This is simply a milled axe head made from 1/2" D2 steel attached to a 16" ASP collapsible baton. These were made for military personnel who need an easy to carry breaching tool.

This is a used example, it has some light surface rust and coating wear. The edge is sharp but the top point of the edge is worn back from, use probably from closing the baton on concrete as they take a solid wack to get them to close. Spike looks barely used. Blade has no markings or logos. According to Strider most were unmarked.

Baton expands and retracts well and locks up super tight, zero movement when deployed. Baton shows coating and grip wear.

These originally came with a kydex sheath which I unfortunately don't have.

I'm not sure where to price this item. They are very rare and they just don't come up for sale. I have seen a well used example, (more use than this one) marked with the Strider logo, with the original sheath, priced at $1195.

How about $600 shipped? OBO or interesting trades considered. (ammo, firearms, and optics are good too)

Make me an offer as I'd rather sell it here than to deal with ebay.
