Mickael Moing french cutler

droit.jpg

Full-tang knife with a flat base, forged laminated Damascus blade, walnut handle

Highly original, distinctly unique, let alone his very obvious skills and talents.

Would I be incorrect to presume he doesn’t take commissions but makes what he wishes, then offers for sale…..?

Have not Googled him, but does Mickaël exhibit at any knife shows at all..?

Yeah, you're right—Mickael hasn't been taking orders for a few years now.
I had to scour his website to find my “Brice.”
He does several trade shows in France, including “Lames en Table.”
He went to Atlanta two or three years ago, if I remember correctly.

Many thanks for curating an outstanding gallery Yann  The variety of range & style is impressive. I really like his aesthetic, It's seems like a kind of Medieval meets Modern and is really convincing.

Looks like you were lucky enough to choose the best pattern :D however, I think I'd go for that in some kind of horn or even Micarta !

Thanks, Will

He makes some beautiful stuff...👍👍👍

You snagged some fine looking specimensbut that newest one.is Magnifique'!!!!!👌👌👌
I've tried to showcase a few of his creations, but there are many other very interesting ones that are no longer visible on his website.
Some of the knives featured are still available for purchase.

I’ve got one of his fixed blades and it’s the real deal. Makes some beautiful stuff

Only thing is they usually sell with in hours of him listing em on his website
