My friend whos a blacksmith sent me this tiny axe. I always wanted because they look cool, but now i'm thinking what the heck should i do with it?
Any ideas, suggestions?

Chop the ends off turnips, carrots and celery and maybe trim asparagus. Ought to work equally well for be-heading stream-caught Brook Trout. At very least the wifey will know not to toss this masculine sort of kitchen gadget (carbon steel with a wood handle) in the dishwasher or into a sink full of soapy water.

I would even use it to cut my boys lunch sandwiches in half for school, split my English muffins and bagels, then butter 'em with it...I might even use it to crack the soft boiled egg shells when my mother in law is over eating soldiers and toast.
Have fun with it!
It looks great!

Yep, kitchen duty for the most part. Probably do lots of things a clever could do.
Looks much to nice not to find a use for it.

What's the weight and dimensions?

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of mini hatchets around here. I tend to use them for camping trips where I plan to have a fire and can't be bothered to bring anything more than my 12oz hatchet with an 8oz head. Given a chance, and selecting reasonable timber they are a surprisingly effective tool in my experience.

Anything much smaller though and even I begin to doubt what it will accomplish.
