I USUALLY Sharpen my knives to a toothy edge that still shaves and sometimes whittle hair. How does it compare to completely serrated knife edge...Spyderco or Cold Steel serrations pattern!

TO me a coarse toothy edge cuts better on many materials. For cutting, pruning tree limbs, cutting stemmy weeds, rope, a bread knife. I'll take the serrated edge. Which I find very useful. DM

In terms of pure edge retention the serrated edge wins by a long shot.
