Not yet! Still got a ways to go. I've been working on getting as many survive knives completed as we can so we can fund the MK-3 and another run of MK-4s. We've got some reviewers looking at the MK-4 now so I am excited to hear what they have to say!

gotcha. website seemed like buy option was off for a bit...but im using mobile and sometimes its touchy on some sites. it seems to be working for me now.

ive played with mine quite a bit. darn good knife and im still super impressed with the fit and finish and factory edge. you could teach Hinderer and Busse how to put factory edges on.😉 im gonna take some slaps for saying that....

btw mk3 gonna have 3" blade?

The most rudimentary characteristics of a knife are that it's.... *Sharp*

Especially for a premium level knife

Yes the MK-3 will be 3" EDCable fixie

Oh man, on my first real job I ran a Blanchard surface grinder like that. That was a dirty job keeping that machine clean.

Oh then you'd enjoy the job I'm working on now! I'm grinding these massive inconel plates, which are actually giant industrial knives.

For the knife guys out here, these are inconel 718 and get a specific heat treat protocol as requested by the manufacturer. Final hardness is 42 HRC

When someone insinuates that a knife is just a knife, I'll show them these and ask them to cut up some tomatoes

I was the plant Engineer at ASKO for a couple of years in Homestead PA. We made Shear Knives for the steel industry. All different size and type of blades, shear, slitter, even large toothed saw blades as well as some specialized expansion plates for rolling mills. All of it made the stuff we talk about on Blade Forum seem miniscule and weak.

Update time!

Woke up to quite a few notifications this morning. Thanks to everyone who spoke up on our behalf. I was planning to respond, but the thread was locked before I had the chance.

If you're new here, welcome. Thanks for following along. We don't expect anyone to trust us right away. We expect to earn that trust over time through the way we do business and the knives we make.

On the shop side, we're working on another batch of MK-4s while continuing development of the MK-3. We also have some exciting steel options coming.

This weekend I drove down to North Carolina to pick up another Wuertz grinder. The trip got interesting when the car broke down. After limping it through a couple hours of Virginia back roads, I swapped the MAF sensor and got back on the road. The new grinder should make a noticeable improvement to our sharpening process.

A few YouTubers have also gotten their hands on the MK-4, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We were especially happy to see it outperform the GSO-4 in the nail test.
