• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Am about to jump from frying pan to fire by flogging some Spyders for Microtechs, but first a couple of questions...
- are they lefty friendly? (MA)
- could I sneak a DA Socom past an unsuspecting customs officer as an ordinary liner lock?
- are inertial openings easy with the MA's?
thanks

I wouldent try going through Customs with a D/A Socom the button is way too obvious to chance it.

I highly doubt you could get a d/a socom past any kind of security. the LCC d/a on the other hand, sounds very possible. Yes, you can do inertial openings easily on the regular sized SOCOMS, I can do the mini socom too (hell I can do a spydie ladybug too). Oh, MT makes ZERO left handed knives, except for the OTF (out the front) automatics. Unless you don't mind opening the single action button locks with your left front finger, but then the clips are still on the wrong side....

Ferret- I'm a lefty, and I have found the SOCOM M/A to be a fairly easy knife for me to use. It is my favorite knife to carry, even though I own a couple true left-handed knives.
