Microscopic Extravaganzaaa. . .PAGE 7. . . Nuclear MOASH ! ! ! !

As much as I want one, there isn't any real point. I don't want to own a knife that I am afraid to use. Even my two customs are more likely to see duty than this beauty. These really belong in the safes of the serious steel heart collectors. The only reason I would want one is to say "It's Mine!" and that simply isn't enough justification for me.

But those Bad Wardens are another story entirely....
 
I would and WILL use one of these. Even if my arthritic hands are flared beyond movement and I am too feeble to mutter a WOOHOO, one of my bloodline will grasp my hand around this 3/8" of INFI and slabs of Nukarta and swing my arm like G.I. Joe with Kung-Fu grip. Even if it is my last breath, I shall rasp ........................ " HOLY CRAP!"

Thanks for your sentiment. . . Lots of folks are confused by our only offering one model at a time. . . so, you're not alone. . .

Not much has changed since the late '90's as we continue to outsell our production and are expanding as quickly as we can!!! We're doing great and have an awesome group of customers. . . errrr. . . I mean HOGs. . . . :thumbup:

Ok, now that I have to waste time away waiting for the email that will tell me that somehow my email came in first.... Where did the MOASH come from? Is this derived from a custom order, or was this just a matter of bigger, badder, oh my freaming gawd?!?

the nuke heart (hollow ground upper edge, often with flying serrations) is a custom style thats been done for a while, on straight handled and ergo steal hearts. as far as the 3/8" thick goes, it wouldnt suprise me that its being done now because the 3/8" thick steel sheets are both now sellable and possibly more readily available. infi is a custom made steel, so it wouldnt suprise me if thickness is both a cost issue and an ability to produce issue.

if the new battle mistresses will really be sold in 3/8" thickness, there is probably a lot of 3/8" thick sheets of infi around the shop right now...


but this is all just speculation...

Oh, ok, I saw on Badmojo TV (hehehe I cannot help calling it that) that there were quite a few limited edition flying serration knives.... way cool... Is the shops habit to make a few of these as they can for extravaganzas & special occasions?

I figured the 3/8" steel was a GREAT sign!!! :D I cannot wait for the new BMs!! I bet that close to 1/2 inch is getting pretty tough to honestly use though.... thats a pretty big chunk O' steel. I got to get with Jerry or Garth and look towards a custom idea soon... I have a really special project that i would like to fufill. Methinks this 3/8" rolls may make it feasible... If I can talk the shop into it!

I figured that I will get a more "choppy" blade for less money by waiting for the HOG FBM LE. Sometimes cowardice is the better part of discretion....
 
I psyched about the HOG FBM LE, too. I like big, heavy blades--I've been using my LE HOGFSH a lot. Well, at least when I get to get out in the woods which, hasn't been as often this summer with the math class I'm taking and all. Good news is it's over in 2 weeks and that's just in time for the 2nd run of Red Salmon and then Silvers and fall trout and hunting too. I'll try to get some good pics of Busses in action.

i love my 1/2" thick blades. i love my 9/16" thick short sword even better :D

as long as you keep the length to a reletive minimum, under about 20" total its quite usable. with the full handle thickness of busse's it might be a little much - but i would love to have one anyways.
