I'll be away at Lassen this weekend, then away the following weekend and two weeks thereafter at Yosemite-Mono Lake-June Lake-Mammoth-Palisades-Alabama Rocks-Sequoia/Kings Canyon-White Mountains.

That is good nes to me since I can't seem to get my laptop straightened out to let me log into this darn site! I sure as heck don't want to have to borrow time on someon else's computer like I am right now!

Fargin virus or trojan or both. I am running Mcafee and Norton on the damned thing now trying to clean it up. I type blade forums in to the freaking home page deal in the control panel and everything and no dice. Will the sys restore do any good if I have cleaned the thing iwth anti virus and spyware software? I keep getting forwarded to a web site for system security and a MalWare product, my theory is the dirty basterds are what got me infected and now they want to hose me $50 to clean it up.

Well, I let the dog out and now I have to go home to curse my lap top some more and threaten it with sharpened steel until I decide I have had enough. I don't even have any Pig's Nose to embibe while I am hard at it either! i should have gone with the family to WI!!!!

you need to get away from Microsoft "Windows" and come to the Dark Side.

switch to Linux,,you wont have to worry about Viruses, trogans, adware, etc..affecting your system anymore..:thumbup: :thumbup:

I'll have to research it. Can I still run my camera software and stuff with Linux or do I have to revamp all that too? I have an external DVDR too. I was thinking of tossing this thing in the creek and buying a Mac.

The wife would kill me though.

yeah,,,you can still run your camera software with Linux(depending on the distro),,

most of the distros comes with a program that is nearly identicle to Adobe Photo Shop,,,it is called "the Gimp", with it you can do all your digital imaging retouching, resizing, ect...
