Socom Manual Action Tanto Point Silver Serrated (P/N 300058) - New In Box (Clamshell) - $550 SOLD! THANK YOU BUYER AND BLADEFORUMS!
While the sticker on the white box says Silver Serrated, I would definitely say this has more of a very subtle bead blasted appearance. While she has no serial number, she does have a production date of April 1999 and the steel type, 154 CM. Over 23 Years old and in absolutely perfect pristine condition as if she just arrived from Vero Beach today!
While the outer sleeve is not in truly mint condition, it is pretty darned close and by far, one of the nicer ones I have come across. The clamshell itself is in Fantastic condition as well with just the impression marks left from the jimping and the lanyard, inherent of the cases design. No cracking, crazing or other imperfections. The original sheath has never been used and is still flat as a pancake. The original warranty card, instruction sheet and courtesy notice are all in superb condition as well.
The knife itself is Absolutely flawless in perfect condition. No bounce back and perfectly centered. No marks from being opened where thumb studs rest when in open position. The knife has never been carried, no pocket dust or lint, no smoke or mildew smells. The rubber grips are still soft and supple and show zero signs of aging. The blade has definitely not been sharpened and flies open with the simplest if flicks... No need to be a thumb wrestling champion to open this babe.
With new manual socoms selling for $500 and more on eBay and other well known websites, I believe my price is quite reasonable, however, I am open to offers if there are no takers for my asking price.
