Hello, I have for sale a Microtech Brass Tachyon II with a black blade. From what I understand microtech did an original release of the Tachyon II with brass handles in both black on brass and stone-wash on brass which was limited to 62 pieces half/half. Mine is not part of those but is a limited edition model sold by blade hq just before Christmas of last year. It does not have the box but does have the silk pouch. There is some wear marks on the latch from locking and unlocking and also on the brass wear the latch would rub when being locked and unlocked. There is also a small and light wear mark on the spine of the blade near the tip and the inside of the backspacer due to flipping, this is to be expected with the tanto version of the tachyon; " Please note: The tanto blade shape required a larger profile. When closed, the blunt spine will contact the block spacer on the safe handle. This does not affect performance.", this statement was copied and pasted from blade hq's website. Other than the minor and expected wear the blade is beautiful and has only been flipped lightly around the house and opened a few letters, it still has the factory edge that you would expect right out of the box.
