Hate to let this one go but cash is starting to get tight.
Model: CMTX5-M
Date: 08/2004
S/N: 151
Blade: S30V, Boron DLC
Condition: Carried and used. Purchased from a Bladeforums member a few weeks ago. Has seen pocket time but only used to cut some fruit (Blade was washed and re-oiled after each use). Some superficial scratching on the blade coating on the presentation side. Logo and markings are crisp. Clip has some wear and the micarta near the clip is slightly damaged. Edge is intact and not scratched. Tip is perfect. Minor blade coating wear near jimping. Centering is 0.3mm off, towards the non-lock side.
Function: Perfect. Detent very strong. Faster than some of my side-opening autos and assisted openers. Very positive actuation and lockup. No blade play or lock stick. Early lockup at 30%. Running on washers so it's smooth but could be further lubricated for added smoothness (I didn't do this for fear of getting oil on the lock interface). This truly does feel like an auto/assisted opener when the thumbstud is hit; no wrist movement at all is needed to fling the blade open.
Original box and papers included in good condition. Shipping by USPS Priority insured mail to US50.
Need a quick sale so offering for S.P.F shipped, all fees included. If you can pay immediately (within next 20 mins of posting "I'll take it"), then I will give you a further discount.
