I have a mint condition Microtech Executive QD Scarab D/A OTF with a carbide glass breaker and a satin-finished S30V blade for sale. This piece looks a lot cleaner than the Scarabs that I usually see because it has a smooth handle instead of the grip tape inserts usually found on this model.

The Executive Scarab listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and the original edge on it from Microtech is sharp. The OTF action is very fast and has a good kick to it during both opening and closing. The knife locks up real solid when open.

Although it is said that D/A OTF springs are at rest in both the open and closed blade positions, I have stored the Scarab open. I will ship it closed in its original clear plastic tube and with its papers and its tools for changing out the clip and glass breaker.

***SOLD***

The specs:

Condition: Mint
Blade length: 3 1/2" from tip to handle
Overall length: 8 1/2"
Blade thickness: 1/8" at ricasso
Blade steel: S30V
Blade finish: Satin
Edge: Plain single edge
Handle material: 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, black, with carbide glass breaker
Clip: Tip down, beadblasted, interchangeable between right and left-handed carry

For payment, I prefer USPS money orders, but I will also accept PayPal and cash (at your own risk). If you are paying by PayPal, I will cover the fees, but the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I will only accept a personal check if I know you, and I reserve the right to wait for it to clear before I ship.

I will consider a trade for a Strider AR with specifically the following options:

Digicam blade
Black grooved and contoured G-10 scales
TAD tritium thumbstuds

I will also consider trades (+ or - cash) for custom folders and custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:

JL Williams
Tim Galyean
Jim Burke
Kit Carson
Rick Hinderer
Charles Marlowe
Tom Mayo
DB Fraley
Neil Blackwood
Deryk Munroe
Flavio Ikoma
Mauricio Dobruski (balis only)
Ken Onion
Phil Boguszewski
Todd Begg

I may consider trades for other custom folders not listed above. However, I am not interested in serrated blades, production knives besides the aforementioned AR or a Strider RC, or fixed blades other than a Galyean Ukiah, small (less than 5" blade) Hossoms, or a Russ Andrews at this point in time.

Feel free to post, email, or PM any questions. Thanks for looking!
