For sale is a Brand New All Tactical Black Microtech Tri-Grip Ultratech. This particular Ultratech began its life as a Sith Lord Ultratech from the Microtech Signature Series. The blade, screws, trigger/firing switch/button, skull/glass crusher and the pocket clip all were swapped from a Brand New red Ultratech using a Brand New Microtech Tool Kit with extra attention not to overtighten the screws.
Tri-Grips have LONG been discontinued, sold out Everywhere and are HIGHLY sought after. Have you coveted a Tri-Grip but didn't want to buy Two Ultratechs in order to assemble your own? Well here is a rare opportunity to take advantage of my doing so for you.
Just to be 100% CLEAR, This Ultratech came New In Box as A Microtech Signature Series Sith Lord Ultratech with a red Cerakote coated blade & ringed hardware. The ringed (little rings engraved into the actual screws and glass/skull crusher) hardware (including the 2 tone switch), clip and red blade were all snapped into a (New In Box) Red Microtech Ultratech and it's Black (also Cerakoted by Microtech) double edged blade and black hardware swapped into the Tri-Grip handles from the Sith Lord all on a sterile lab bench with Genuine Microtech Stainless Steel Tools.
This knife is 100% Unused, never cut anything or put in any pockets. While it comes with the original baggie, Pamphlet and Sith Lord Tri-Grip Signature Series box, the clip is from the red ultratech so as to provide a more tactical appearance.
While the photographs I included show the blade to be 100% black as with DLC Coated blades, the flats (flat portions of the blade) are actually satin, hence it being technically a Two-Tone blade.
While swapping components most probably voided the warranty, if anything were to go wrong, Microtech would very possibly honor the warranty as long as the problem is not attributed to such said swappage, however, I most absolutely can NOT guarantee such by any means whatsoever.
Due to the fact that it takes a Substantially longer period of time Route the Tri-Grip pattern with their equipment, simple economics makes the likelihood of them be re-released in any substantial quantities extremely unlikely.
