This is one of Microtech’s most popular models, and a reported favorite with law enforcement and the military front line. If you do not know much about this knife, it is probably not in your interest. I have posted a few photos that show that the knife is as new and rarely opened (as would be indicated by wear marks on the charging bar.

Microtech’s description and specifications are available by accessing the link following the photos – none of which do this unique knife justice:

This knife is an early model and has all the originally supplied materials including the tactical sheath and a custom after-market Kydex (or C/F) holster/clip for around the neck concealed carry that I will add at no additional price. The knife will be supplied as delivered in the factory packaging with all paperwork including an open warranty card - as will all my knives listed here as new unless otherwise stated.

MSRP for this Halo III version is $490 USD and some retailers list them at ~$400 USD. I will sell this knife for $380 USD which includes shipment within the lower 48 States. Arrangements can be made for worldwide shipment.

Please check your local laws before purchasing it for your own protection.

As with my other auctions, I would prefer payment via PayPal without additional fees (Quasi Cash) to provide priority shipment. I will accept bank checks or money orders but will wait until the funds fully clear before shipping.

Those seriously interested in this unique knife are welcome to contact me directly by email.

All the best,

John

Sorry Bullitt,

It was so long ago that I have lost the source information. Will try a search this morning and post the information if successful. The sheath is ultra trick - good knife retention and shrouds the opening button for safety. Fast release when needed.

cbx,

Your email and PM mode is disabled. Is there any blade play when it is deployed ? How hard does it fire ? Thanks.

deejay,

I just checked my PM function with a test message and it worked without a hitch. Just go to my original post and click on CBXFIXER in the upper left corner, it will give you a menu that includes sending a PM - but you probably already know this. Perhaps something was down when you tried.

To keep the knife as new, I haven't fired it much, probably less than a dozen times. I can say it takes a deliberate push on the button to open the knife, a good thing as I believe it would pierce a beer can easily on opening. To answer your question, I have not handled an OTF auto that opens with such authority.

Further, I believe the reason serious users favor it is that it locks both opened and closed better than any other OTF I know of. But please note, I am not a serious knife collector or a knowledgeable enthusiast. Others here may chime in.

All the best

John

I suppose you are right. I am a Platinum Member and this feature is available to me.

Cheers,

What? I don't understand...

So this cbxfixer is Vlad? Proof? Lock the thread then please. I don't want to be distracted by junk Microtech threads...

Thanks for your diligence! If I were to be ripped off by this person, I'd kill him.
