The attached pic shows the knives I'm interested in. Sometime back I tried to buy one or more of these. Contacted Microtech and they said that the knives were being made for a special buyer and gave me his contact info. I thought I had placed an order with him, but never heard back. All contact info has long since been lost, so any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure I'll get some disagreements here, but kinda looks "Reeve Inspired"

thats what i thought also, but still nice looking blades. id very much like to own the middle one. lol..

The handles look longer than the blades.Maybe the blades are just very short which would be surprising for a hollow handled "survival" knife.I would go with the time tested CRK hollow handle.

Yes! I've been searching for these ever since I first saw them a few years ago. Maybe someone will post the model names of these. So far nobody seems to carry them, I've checked high and low. A group buy with some of the bladeforums members might be a good idea. ! The one in the middle is my fav too, that's also the only model I recall seeing a few years ago. But the blades do appear to be shorter than what I remember. Still nice lookers.

At one time I had the dimensions for these, but no more. If I remember correctly they were to be neck knives and therefore were pretty small. All metal neck knives seem like they'd be kinda heavy, but like a lot of knives we buy, most of them would never be used, just admired.

Nice, I don't think I've seen those before. Grab a CRK fixed blade if you can't hunt down the contact info.

I think these were made especially for a dealer by Microtech who has since passed away. I don't think many were sold. I believe that Tony and Chris Reeve are good friends and Chris helped Tony work out the handle design.
They are nice knives.

Nice they are. I like the middle one the best. Handle a little shorter would look sweet. Nice anyway, not nit picking

I don't know if they are buddies, but they have done some work for each other in the past. Chris has ground some LUDT blades for Tony way back in the 90s.

Perhaps one of you guys that are familiar with Microtech personnel could get a group buy going? I remember the price being around $450 when I talked to the guy that supposedly had these special ordered. I'd be in for that price.
