Well, I've had it! FYI,

I just caught my LCC clip on my chair while getting up and sure enough it bent again! Not near as bad as last time though, this time I was able to remove the clip able re-bend it back to shape. The first time It bent straight out and was I was not able to re-bend it without it looking like s**t.

I've caught many clips in the past and I've never had one that bends as easily as Microtech's LCC clip. The first time it bent I had to send it to back to Florida to get fixed. Every since I got it back I have slowly tried to regain some confidence in it buy wearing it more and more, and just when I was starting to think "Hey,maybe its not so bad after all"....YANK! Why, didn't they just make a solid clip for it!

Now I know why the LCC also comes with the belt sheath. That's where mine where spend the rest of its time when I wear it.

Dont get me wrong, other than the clip I think the LCC is a great knife, I'm just going to wait until Microtech gets around to changing the design of the clip, or at least I hope they will after they get tired of having to service the ones coming back for bent clips. When that happens, then I'll send mine back to have it "fixed" with a new clip.

Mine bent too. I just gave them a call and they sent out three more. I guess they anticipated more clips bending. The LCC is my favorite knife but the clip is a real pain. I feel for ya. Good luck!

I think I'll take you up on that Matthew, How did you get them to send you clips...???

When I first bent mine, I did everything but beg, alright I begged too... but they still would not send me one. I was told I would have to send it back for them to put one on. Guess they got tired of doing it themselves

My understanding is that new L.C.C.'s are being made with solid clips, much stronger than the earlier mobels with the cutouts on them.

I never seem to run into clip problems.
(They are all loose in a drawer).

If anyone needs one email me I might have what you need and I do not need it. Fair price might be a handshake at a knife show in the future.

Just contact them and they will send you solid replacement clips. They work great!

I called this past week, and I have one coming in the mail...I will finally be able to carry my LCC with confidence.

Thumbs up to Microtech for changing the design. It seems as soon as they started to receive feedback from the LCC, the clip was the only problem spot and they fixed it.
