Microtech Lock Bar Stick-Socom Elite

People suggest pencil graphite and permanent marker for this issue. I have had much better results with the marker. Apply and then let it dry. Probably best to do a few coats.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Rev...but isn't there a little tab on the lock bar that will only let it advance so far...or a tab on the blade? If I remember my MT Select Fire was like that as well.

Yes there is. It is located on the blade. It locks up the same place every time or it is supposed to.

Can you imagine....coloring lock bar faces with pencils, various degrees of lock bar position, some stick some don't depending on how hard it's flicked, non transferable warranty, RA's before you ship, voided warranties if you open a knife because we're too stupid to service it ourselves (they may be right because we actually paid what???? for that POS)...this list goes on. I'm so happy i didn't drink the Koolaid.

When i first started collecting (even before the Spyderco phase)......i remember thinking "something doesn't seem right with those MT's". Boy did I ever nail it on the head with that one.

I've owned 5 Microtechs and all were flawless until this one. Thanks though
