I've been quite happy with mine. The Medallion has an excellent grip despite being very flat. I like the deep index finger indent to prevent any chance of slipping onto the blade.
I'm a sucker for recurves and the Medallion has a very effective blade shape. The tip is low enough for fine work and the depth of the curve is well-matched to the length of the blade for both belly and hawkbill-type applications.
I had a minor gripe that my Medallion showed up fairly dull, but it took a fine edge on my SharpMaker and has held it like a champ. From what I've heard on the web most of them were sharp out of the box.
My only real gripe is the sheath. It works well enough, but it's a little thicker than it needs to be and it tends to rattle. I need to ask Normark about getting a custom sheath made...
