Up for sale is an incredible Microtech Navy Scarab. It is unused and uncarried. It is scary sharp, unlike some MT's original edges. This thing fired HARD. With the double springs, it makes it one of the best OTF's on the market. It fires harder than my HALO V did. I'm not the original owner, got this in a trade. Just not sure I'm ready to throw it my pocket.
Comes with everything as new, box docs, and nylon sheath.
This is a top of the line OTF, designed by Microtech for Navy SEALs, which is why it was necessary for it to be able to fully deploy while completely submerged.
Here's a description from MT:
Made to withstand the rigors associated with water and diving, the Navy Scarab features a double-action spring set and additional venting at the base of the blade and handle, making it possible to open underwater into the fully locked position. Tritium inserts on the firing button make it easy to find in low light conditions. The Navy Scarab also features a saltwater-resistant, protective coating and includes a removable rubber gasket that provides an additional seal when not in use.
This Scarab has an Elmax steel blade and green anodized 7075-T6 aluminum handle with grip inserts. Includes pocket clip and glass breaker.
Also includes the tool to remove or reverse the pocket clip and a set of dust cap gaskets that fit over the blade opening.
Price is $575, all in, via paypal or USPS money order. Shipped USPS Priority
Not really looking for any trades, maybe a Zombitech Microtech, but worst I can say is no thanks. I do love Busse's, maybe a trail scalpel?
Please PM me if you have any questions or concerns regarding shipping. Thanks!
